Account restrictions explained
Active Employees
An Active Employee is any employee of your company who accesses Cashboard via the web interface or API within a 30-day billing cycle.
On the FREE account plan you're limited to one Active Employee total. On the DYNAMIC plan you may have as many as you'd like.
Clients Invoiced
Cashboard is unique in that we don't limit you on per-invoice basis. Rather, we limit you per-Client Invoiced.
You can send unlimited invoices to one client on the FREE plan. If you need more than that, our DYNAMIC plan is the right choice for you.
Active Projects
In order to track time or manage tasks in Cashboard, you need to have at least one Active Project.
Our FREE account plan allows for one Active Project. Our DYNAMIC plan allows for unlimited Active Projects, all free of charge.

How does the DYNAMIC plan work?
Our DYNAMIC plan costs $10 monthly, plus additional fees for usage.
You are allowed one free Active User and one free Client Invoiced per each 30-day Cashboard billing cycle.
Each additional Active User will cost you $5, and each additional Client Invoiced will cost you $0.25.
You may also set a Maximum Monthly Limit on your account plan to budget your spending.
This restricts the maximum amount you will spend on Cashboard in any given month. Additionally, it will allow you to control how many employees can login to your account.
What am I actually buying?
With your monthly Cashboard payment you are purchasing the right to use our service.
We own the software, you own your data. You can download your data any time you like.
How does the Cashboard 15-day free trial work?
You are not billed for your first month of service until 15 days from the day you sign up.
At that time you may pay and continue using our premium features, or you will be automatically downgraded to our FREE account plan.
Do I have to install anything?
Absolutely not. Cashboard is hosted on our secure internet servers.
All you need to access Cashboard is a web browser and an internet connection, which you already have if you're looking at this web page.

What if I want to cancel?
We'd hate to see you go, but you may cancel at any time. You can also downgrade to our free account at any time, which will preserve your data in case you choose to use Cashboard again.
We've made upgrading, downgrading, or canceling just as easy as using Cashboard.
How are payments handled?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
At this time we don't accept any other forms of payment.
